# Hotspot/Tethering feature


### **Tethering (Hotspot) with Surfroam eSIM/SIM**

Yes! **Tethering (mobile hotspot) is supported** with **Surfroam eSIM/SIM**, allowing you to share your data connection with other devices.

### **How to Enable Hotspot with Surfroam**

📌 **Set the correct APN for tethering:**

* Go to **APN settings** on your device.
* Ensure **APN: ** `globaldata`, `rh`, or `internet`, is set in the **Hotspot/Tethering section**.

### **📱 Setting Up Hotspot by Device**

#### **On iOS (iPhone & iPad)**

1. **Go to**: **Settings** → **Mobile Data (Cellular)** → **Mobile Data Network**.
2. Scroll to the **Personal Hotspot** section.
3. **Enter APN:** **** `globaldata`, `rh`, or `internet`, if applicable.
4. **Leave username and password fields empty**.
5. Save the settings and enable **Personal Hotspot** in **Settings** → **Personal Hotspot**.

#### **On Android**

1. **Go to**: **Settings** → **Connections** → **Mobile Network** → **Access Point Names (APN)**.
2. Tap **Add New APN** or edit your existing Surfroam APN.
3. **Ensure APN:** **** `globaldata`, `rh`, or `internet`, is set for both **Mobile Data** and **Hotspot/Tethering**.
4. Save the settings and enable **Hotspot** in **Settings** → **Hotspot & Tethering**.

Once set up, your **hotspot will work**, allowing you to **share your Surfroam data connection with other devices**! 🚀
