Getting connected in USA

Surfroam SIM and eSIM connect in the country you go to, selecting IMSI and local network automatically.

At the same time, you may manually manage your phone settings.

First, please check your location country IMSI on the rates section of MySurfroam or https://surfroam.com/pages/rates.
For example, the United States IMSI is 25.

Next, follow the simple steps:

Step 1: Restart Your Phone



Make sure your Surfroam SIM or eSIM is active alone, temporarily switching OFF any other SIM or eSIM on your phone;
Restart your phone
Check connection

Step 2: Manually Select IMSI (If Needed)



📱 Select IMSI on iOS



Go to Settings → Mobile Service → Surfroam eSIM → SIM Applications.
Select Mode → Set to Manual.
Choose IMSI according to your country (for example, USA = IMSI 25)
Restart your phone.
Check connection.

You may need to set APN:

Go to Settings → Mobile Service → Surfroam eSIM → Mobile Data Network → manually enter APN: `globaldata` or APN: rh in Mobile Data, LTE, and Hotspot (if used) sections.
Check connection

🤖 Select IMSI on Android



Open SIM Toolkit application (new app with Gear icon appears between your applications, or may also appear as SIM Applications, Profiles, or Tools in folders TOOLS or UTILITIES.

SIM Tools

Select Mode → Set to Manual.
Choose IMSI according to your country (for example, USA = IMSI 25)
Restart your phone.
Check connection

You may need to set APN:

Go to Settings → Mobile Network → Access Point Names (APN) → Create a new APN with APN: `globaldata` or APN: `rh`.
Save and activate it.
Check connection

After following these steps, your Surfroam eSIM/SIM should connect to a network successfully.🚀
