How to Activate Your New Surfroam eSIM


⚠️ IMPORTANT: The QR code is unique and for one-time use on a single device. If you delete the eSIM, you will need a replacement eSIM.


🔹 Before You Begin:


✔ Use an UNLOCKED device that supports eSIM.
✔ Ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection during activation.
✔ Temporarily turn OFF all other eSIM data plans (if present).
✔ Update your device software to the latest version.


Right after receiving your Surfroam eSIM via email, log in to MySurfroam with your registered email.


  • Locate the activation voucher by tapping the small SIM chip icon on the SIM picture.
  • Begin activation.

Steps to Activate on iPhone:


  1. Go to: Settings → Mobile Data (or Cellular) → Add Data Plan.
  2. Scan the QR Code received in MySurfroam.
  3. Go to: Settings → Mobile Data → Surfroam eSIM → Mobile Data Network.
  4. Set the APN:


  • Enter globaldata (or rh) in:
  • Mobile Data
  • LTE
  • Hotspot (if available)
  • Delete any username and password fields.

  1. Turn ON Data Roaming:


  • Go to Settings → Mobile Data → Surfroam eSIM.
  • Ensure Mobile Data is set to Surfroam eSIM.
  • Turn OFF Wi-Fi and test your connection.



🤖 Android (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.)


Steps to Activate on Android:


  1. Go to: Settings → Connections (or Network & Internet) → Mobile Network → SIM Card Manager.
  2. Tap "Add Carrier" or "Add Mobile Plan" and scan the QR code.
  3. Once the Surfroam eSIM is registered, select OK to activate it.
  4. Set Surfroam eSIM as the preferred data line:


  • Go to Settings → SIM Card Manager → Preferred SIM Card.
  • Set Mobile Data to Surfroam eSIM.
  1. Enable Data Roaming:


  • Go to Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Turn ON Data Roaming.
  1. Set the APN:


  • Go to: Settings → Mobile Network → Access Point Names (APN).
  • Create a new APN:
  • APN: globaldata (or rh)
  • Do not change any other fields.
  • Save and activate the APN.
  1. Turn OFF Wi-Fi and test the connection.
