MMI Code Problem – Troubleshooting Steps


If you receive an MMI code problem message, please follow these steps to resolve it:


  1. Set Carrier/Network Selection to Automatic

  • Go to SettingsMobile NetworkNetwork Selection
  • Ensure Automatic is enabled
  1. Enable Data Roaming

  • Go to SettingsMobile NetworkData Roaming
  • Ensure Data Roaming is ON
  1. Set Preferred Network Type to 3G/4G

  • Go to SettingsMobile NetworkPreferred Network Type
  • Select 3G/4G (or LTE, if available)
  1. Reset and Configure APN

  • Delete all existing APN records
  • Create a new APN with the following settings:
  • APN: globaldata (one word, all lowercase)
  • Do not change any other fields
  1. Restart Your Device

  • Turn your phone OFF and ON
  • Check your connection


If the issue persists, try toggling Airplane Mode ON/OFF and test your connection again.
