I get MMI code problem message
MMI Code Problem – Troubleshooting Steps
If you receive an MMI code problem message, please follow these steps to resolve it:
- Set Carrier/Network Selection to Automatic
- Go to Settings → Mobile Network → Network Selection
- Ensure Automatic is enabled
- Enable Data Roaming
- Go to Settings → Mobile Network → Data Roaming
- Ensure Data Roaming is ON
- Set Preferred Network Type to 3G/4G
- Go to Settings → Mobile Network → Preferred Network Type
- Select 3G/4G (or LTE, if available)
- Reset and Configure APN
- Delete all existing APN records
- Create a new APN with the following settings:
- APN:
globaldata
(one word, all lowercase)
- Do not change any other fields
- Restart Your Device
- Turn your phone OFF and ON
- Check your connection
If the issue persists, try toggling Airplane Mode ON/OFF and test your connection again.
