You need to install the Surfroam SIM into your unlocked mobile device in to SLOT 1 and configure it to use the Surfroam service. Please follow simple instruction below: <ol> <li>Make sure that there are enough funds on your Surfroam SIM balance</li> <li>Ensure that the power is turned off on your device</li> <li>Remove the old SIM (if one installed), pop out the matching sized Surfroam SIM, install it in your device and power up your device</li> <li>Check that Mobile data service is Activated</li> <li>Set mobile data type to 3G or AUTO (2G/3G/4G)</li> <li>Check that Data Roaming service is Activated</li> <li>Check that Automatic Carrier Selection switch is ON</li> <li>Set APN depending on your device to be connected in any country. How to activate my new eSIM?

|| !!! The QR code is unique and applicable for one-time use on one device only. If you delete it, you will need the replacement eSIM.

1. Use an UNLOCKED device only.

2. Get a reliable WiFi connection.

3. Temporarily turn OFF all eSIM data plans.

Right after you receive the Surfroam eSIM to your email, please login into the MySurfroam application with your customer email. You will find an activation voucher right in the application: tap the small CHIP icon on the SIM picture. Then begin activation.

• Turn OFF all existing eSIM profiles if present

• Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal and turn Wi-Fi ON

• Ensure that your device has the latest software version that supports an eSIM

How to set country?

Accepted Answer

For Android:

Browse your applications on the phone screen. You will find a new app SIM Applications. Usually, it has an icon with a small gear. SIM applications appear after Surfroam eSIM is activated or turned ON.

Start it, and you will see the menu:

*** Country ** *** Mode ** * ICCID

Please choose the Country section, and select the country name you are located in now.

Toggle ON/OFF aeroplane mode, or restart your phone. Wait for a constant network signal and check the connection.

2. For iOS:

Please go to Mobile Data -> Surfroam eSIM -> SIM Applications. You will see the following menu:

Please go to the *Country section and select your current country name.

You may do the same another way:

Please go to MySurfroam, tap to Rates section and find your current location country. You will find the corresponding IMSI number. Remember it.

Go to SIM Applications (described above) select *Mode > set it to *Manual > set correct *IMSI from the list.

Toggle ON/OFF aeroplane mode, or restart your phone. Wait for a constant network signal and check the connection.

Please reset APN, restart your phone and check your connection.

If that does not work, please set the location to IMSI 22 using manual mode, restart your phone, set APN globaldata and check connection.

TO SET LOCATION IMSI using iOS: Please go to Mobile Data -> Surfroam eSIM -> SIM Applications. You will see the following menu:

select *Mode > set it to *Manual > set *IMSI 22 from the list.
