Getting started with my Surfroam SIM
Please follow the Quick Start Guide.
You need to install the Surfroam SIM into your unlocked mobile device in to SLOT 1 and configure it to use the Surfroam service.
Please follow simple instruction below:
Make sure that there are enough funds on your Surfroam SIM balance
Ensure that the power is turned off on your device
Remove the old SIM (if one installed), pop out the matching sized Surfroam SIM, install it in your device and power up your deviPopularTroubleshooting connectivity problems
Please check the following before contacting us for help:
Mobile device is turned on
SIM card is installed correctly into SLOT 1
Current balance is positive
Mobile device is receiving a mobile network signal.
Cellular data settings for your device are correct:
• Cellular Data ON
• Data Roaming ON
• APN set to "globaldata" (without quotation marks)
Turn your mobile device OFF and back ON

Please make sure that Surfroam SIM is placed into SLOT 1
No other SIM cards inserted
Set preferred Network connection type to 3G and disable VoLTE
Then, please find SIM Toolkit Menu as follows:
Android:
Go to Applications -SIM Services or SIM Toolkit (will be an app between your other apps)
iOS:
Go to Settings -Phone or Mobile Data -SIM Applications -Location selection
Windows:
Settings -mobile + SIM -SIM settings -SIM applications

In case if you use Surfroam SIM in the pocket router, you need to set proper location profile on your SIM in advance using any unlocked phone with roaming enabled.

Insert Surfroam SIM into unlocked phone in SLOT 1, turn it ON
Enable Roaming on your phone settings
Wait for constant signal and take Surfroam SIM out of the phone
Place SIM into your router, turn it ON

In dual-slot smartphones, you have to put Surfroam SIM into SLOT 1.
It is guaranteed that the Surfroam SIM card will be activated correctly and registered in a network as fast as possible.
Also, it helps to make the setup process simple and handy.
SLOT 2 supports "simple SIM's," local SIM's and SD cards, in many cases depending on the manufacturer device, SLOT 2 does not support new smart SIM technologies.

SIM Toolkit is a built-in Surfroam SIM app with an icon that looks like a SIM chip named SIM Applications, Profile or Tools.

go to Settings General Profiles delete any installed APN profile (if present)
go to Settings Mobile Data Mobile Data Options Mobile Data Network
Enter APN globaldata (one word small letters no spaces) into sections Mobile Data, LTE, and Hotspot if available.
Delete username and password if present.
Please restart iPhone.
After restart please check next:
